Queen’s Rowing Alumni: Lady Victoria Boat Club
Lady Victoria Boat Club exists to encourage rowing at Queen’s University Belfast and to raise the standard of rowing in Northern Ireland. We do this through the support of our members and friends. Please consider joining Lady Victoria Boat Club!
Membership is open to anyone who has ever rowed for, coached or supported either the Men’s or Ladies’ Boat Club, be it for one term, or many years. 100% of your subscription goes to rowing at Queen’s.
Many great friendships have been forged through the more than eight decades of rowing at Queen’s. It is our aim to continue these friendships through Lady Victoria social events, whilst supporting the students at the same time.
You can learn more about Lady Victoria Boat Club on their website.
Queen’s Rowing Supporters: Queen’s Annual Fund
The Queen’s Annual Fund was established in May 1999 to support and enhance all aspects of the Queen’s student experience. Over the years, gifts from loyal alumni have enabled the Queen’s Annual Fund to build distinctive programs and innovative research initiatives both in and out of the classroom.
Flexible funds allow the University to prioritise and support new areas to ensure that future generations benefit from the Queen’s experience. Over £2.2m has been pledged from over 5,000 graduates and friends.
Queen’s Sporting Academies play a vital role in enhancing the student experience by offering over 120 scholarships to GAA, Rugby, Soccer and Rowing each year.
Academy Scholarships allow athletes to enhance their performance by providing free access to sports facilities, excellent coaching and the high-quality clothing needed for their sport.
