NI First and deputy First Minister met Queen’s Rowing crews

The First Minister, Peter Robinson, and Deputy First Minister, Martin McGuinness MP, met the Captains, oarsmen and women from Queen’s Rowing competing in this year’s Ramada Shaws Bridge University Boat Race.

The event taking place on the 5th June will once again see Queen’s pitted against their Dublin counterparts.

This year the event boasts two enclosures. The Regatta enclosure is located at the Queen’s Boat House and is open to donors and members of Lady Victoria Boat Club. The public enclosure located at Queen’s PEC, is open to all and we encourage as many people as possible to come down for a relaxing day by the river, cheering on Queen’s Rowing.

All Lady Victoria members and donors will have received an invite. Please RSVP following the instructions as soon as possible.

Bring along family and friends to watch the 4 races and enjoy the atmosphere.

Boat Race Schedule:

Regatta & public enclosures open 12:30
Racing begins, Women’s Fresher 8, 13:45
Closing Race, Men’s Senior 8, 16:00
