Thank you for including me in the Queen’s Rowing updates. I am delighted to see the keen interest being shown by both male and female competitors. Although I am getting older, I still have a strong interest in the sport. That said I helped get rowing restarted in Pittsburgh in 1986. Today we have two Boat Houses on the backwater of the Allegheny River. Five Universities and 16 High Schools row out of these facilities, and several times each year we have competitions. That said we have an Annual event named the HOTO, which is The Head of The Ohio Regatta. Rowing Clubs from the North East United States and from Ontario, Canada all participate.
