With the rowing season at an end and with all athletes continuing their fitness with a well deserved break from on the water training, that does not mean the work has stopped at Queen’s Boathouse. With the on-going refurbishment of the long standing Queen’s boathouse, the current Queen’s rowers are excited by the prospect of rowing gout of the newly refurbished boathouse come the start of the new academic term in September.
Our new Club Captains Jason Armstrong and Ellie Holmes are eager to get started and can not wait for the year ahead to build on the success of this year. Both Jason and Ellie are supported this year by two very strong and valuable committees, with Mark McMullan the Vice Captain and Ellie being supported in her role as Captain by Gemma Canham. The Captains messages will follow shortly.
All of us here at Queen’s Boathouse are eagerly awaiting the start of the new season to bring more success to the club, we shall keep you all up to date with any up and coming races, recruitment and of course any and all progress on the Queen’s Boathouse.
