The University Boat Race launched last week
Representatives from Queen’s rowing joined the University’s Vice Chancellor and Lord Diljit Rana the event’s sponsor, outside the Lanyon Building at Queen’s to launch this annual fixture, which has become one of the highlights of the local rowing calendar, providing crews with the opportunities to fine tune their race plans in advance of Henley Regatta and the Irish Championships.
This year the event, which takes place on the Lagan on June 11, includes crews from University College Cork as well as Trinity Dublin, who will race Queen’s crews at both novice and senior levels throughout the day.
Boat Race Launch: (l-r) Zoe Patterson (Queen’s Ladies Rowing Captain), Lord Rana (Director of Andras House – Ramada Plaza, Belfast), Prof Peter Gregson (Queen’s University Vice-Chancellor), Damian Hannon (Queen’s Men’s Rowing Vice-Captain)

We have seen this elsewhere. Why do we have to receive this now. I understand Queen’s went to BUCS. How did they do? Why can’t we be told? Why can’t some publicity be given to the achievements of the squad instead opf old news.Posterous is an absolute waste of time.
