Athlone Regatta 2008

This weekend the men’s club travelled to Athlone to get their final taste of racing before Irish National Championships. The Intermediate VIII qualified in their heat and managed third position in the final, losing out to winners Cork BC by a length and a quarter. The novice VIII won their event over GSBC convincingly. 

University Championships & Dublin Metropolitan Regatta

The weekend was an action packed one with Queen’s getting their first true taste of the 2km course this season. BRC sprints proved a mixed day for the men’s club, with some success and some disappointment. The novices entered in the novice 4 and intermediate 8 categories.
